These contracts have allowed Option Energy, LLC to provide premium pricing on natural gas an electricity to commercial and residential customers acquiring 3000+ new customers since April of 2008. Having AESs as partners has also had a synergistic effect allowing Option Energy LLC to become both a purchaser and a supplier. Many Alternative Energy Suppliers (AES) are required by the states they operate in to purchase a portion of their energy from renewable sources like wind, solar, hydro, and biomass through mandated Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS).
