Duke Energy – Gas Customer Choice Program
Welcome to the Duke Gas Customer Choice program from Integrys Energy. The Gas Choice program enables customers the opportunity to choose a natural gas supplier, other than Duke Energy. If you decide to purchase your gas from a different supplier, Duke Energy will continue to deliver the same reliable gas to your home or business, read your meter, perform routine safety checks, and respond to gas leaks or emergencies.

- Will I get one bill or two? What if I am on Budget Billing or use Speedpay with Duke Energy?
- You will continue to receive one bill from Duke Energy. The only change will be that Integrys' gas option charges will appear as a separate line item. Special billing options with Duke Energy, such as Budget Billing, Speedpay automatic bank account withdrawal, Heat-Share, HEAP Credits, etc., will remain available to you as they have been in the past.
- When I sign Integrys' contract, when will I start to see my savings and how long am I required to remain an Integrys customer?
- You will begin to see your savings on your gas bill within 45 to 75 days of signing up with Integrys. The contract length is for a primary term of one year and shall continue year to year thereafter. For variable option agreements, customers are on a month to month basis after the initial year. You will be notified at least 45 days, but not more than 90 days, before the end of the current contract of the opportunity to renew or cancel your agreement. Special circumstances like moving your residence or business will automatically end your contract with Integrys on the same day that you disconnect your gas service from Duke Energy.
